Educational Background

• Dr. James E. Magnusson is a native Oklahoman and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1983.
• He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology and Nuclear Medicine.
• He attended medical school at the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Tulsa, graduating in 1987.
• Dr. Magnusson performed a rotating internship followed by a four year general surgery residency at Tulsa Regional Medical Center.
• A two year residency program in plastic surgery at the Philadelphia Osteopathic Medical Center.
  Board certification in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery was granted to Dr. Magnusson in 1996.
• Our surgical facility has an Acreditation in Association for Ambulatory Health Care
