This 50 year-old lady demonstrates well the problems that patients have with "baggy" eyes and that "tired" look. Note in the angle pre op photo, the soft features of this patient's eyes are lost in the fatty pad features. Note also the youthful appearance in the post op photos and the post-op angle photo. 53 year-old lady with excess skin of the upper and lower eyelids. The patient complains of others telling her that she looks tired, especially in the morning, when...in fact...she is not tired. The fatty pads that are evident in the lower lids collect fluid overnight and this gives the more "puffy" look at that time.
