Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck)
Female
This lady had children and has the changes from childbearing. These include the stretch marks, laxity of the abdominal wall muscles and generally the loss of the "youth" of her pre pregnancy body profiles and confidence.
A tummy tuck was suggested to remedy this problem with liposuction of the waist.
Whenever surfing these cases, ALWAYS see the tummy tuck, liposuction and body lift/reshaping categories to see other cases that will be directly related to tummy tucks/liposuction.
Also, when searching breast case categories, you will find combination procedures involving the breasts and body that would be of interest.

Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) Photos - Angle 1
Details: Note the loss of contours in the lower abdomen. This is very much worse when the patient sits..with the excess skin and lax abdominal muscles becoming embarassing. This is despite the fact that this lady is more petite.
Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) Photos - Angle 2
Details: I NEVER take a photo pre op with the patient pushing out. I DO try to have the patient relax for the picture...but...VERY hard for most patients to do. Note on the post op photo...the patient is NOT holding in. The muscle tightening (not cutting) that is done with this procedure,(besides the removal of the tissue from just above the belly button to the pubic hair) holds the patients abdomen in nicely. The belly button is "repopped" at its natural position. It is NOT moved or removed.
Abdominoplasty (Tummy Tuck) Photos - Angle 3
Details: Dramatic side view showing the tightnes and flatness of the patients abdomen. She will continue to have more of her abdomen tissue flatten as time goes by..even up to one year..
Happy patient...happy doctor.
