This 28 year-old lady desired to have her "flabby" arms tightened and reduced in size. This was done with a removal of the fatty tissue and skin tightening. There is a 7 inch reduction in the circumference of her arms. Shown post op at one month. Note the tightness of the skin and the impressive reduction of the fatty tissue of the arms.

41 year-old lady with "flabby" arms. Patients are quite bothered by this. It is possible to reduce the circumference of the arms by even greater than 50 % . . . as seen in this case. The patient is shown 3 weeks post operatively. She could also have used some liposuction of the areas under the arms but she declined to do so.

34 year old lady with "flabby" upper arm. Skin is evaluated to see how to give the best "lift". This case demonstrates that liposuction can be a very useful tool in arm reduction without the need for the more traditional armlift with incisions. A select group of patients with this type of skin can benefit from this type of arm reduction. This lady's upper arm circumference has decreased by 3 inches from this procedure.

33 year-old mother with excess fat of the waist, hips,upper back, and the upper/lower abdomen. This patient had a tummy tuck. This alone would flatten the abdomen (with tightening of the abdominal muscles) and remove the fatty tissue of the lower abdomen. It would NOT make the back, hips, or waist smaller. The definition of these areas can come ONLY from liposuction. This patient needs to have a reasonable amont of fatty tissue liposuctioned...When seeing a patient in consultation regarding this...
