As a patient you will always feel like the goal of Dr. De Bellis is your health and happiness, not necessarily the completion of a surgical procedure.  When you walk in you will like you are treated like an individual, not a number and that feeling will stay with you throughout your treatment.

First Consultation:  Your first consultation will be complimentary.  This is because it is an exploration by both you and the doctors to see what the best way for you to achieve your goals is.  Sometimes you may think a particular surgery or even surgery in general is the best way for to go and it may be that a non-surgical procedure or that a different surgery than the one you expected will better fulfill your goals.

By the end of you first consultation, you will understand what can  be done to get you where you want to be.  You will have a better overview of the problem you want to address,  the variety of treatment procedures and modalities that can address that problem and you will craft with the doctors a plan, wether it entails surgical intervention or not, that can address the problem you came in for. 

After the first consultation, you may have already decided to move ahead with the treatment plan or you may want to think about it and consult your loved ones and friends.  Either way, you will be brought in for a second appointment.

Second Appointment:  When you come in for your second appointment you will be full of questions.  If you've already decided to proceed with the treatment plan and the plan involves surgery, you will want to know when you can have your surgery, what the recovery time will be, how long the actual surgery will take and other such questions.  If you are unsure of how you want to proceed you will probably have further questions about the treatment plan and/or how the logistics of the treatment plan can fit into your life. 

You will know by the end of the second appointment all the pros and cons of the treatment plan.  You will understand why it is being offered to you and how it can achieve the goals you have.
