Educational Background
Dr. Davis is a graduate of The University of the South in Sewanee, TN and the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He completed his general surgery training at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD and was certified by the American Board of Surgery. His plastic surgery residency was at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, VA. He has been certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 1986. Dr Davis served as assistant chief of Plastic Surgery at the National Naval Medical Center before entering private practice in Raleigh. He has led several overseas medical missions with Operation Smile and has been a leader in both local and national medical societies serving as President of the Raleigh Academy of Medicine, the North Carolina Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Council of State Plastic Surgery Societies.
