Eyelid surgery is accomplished by making incisions in the fold of the upper lid and just below the eyelashes of the lower lid. Excess fat and skin are trimmed, the skin of the eyelids are tightened, and the incisions delicately stitched closed. When healed these scars are almost impossible to see.
