Educational Background
A native of South Louisiana, Dr. Odinet spent many years in training around the country before returning to this area to offer residents innovative, state of the art care. Dr. Odinet received his medical degree from Louisiana State University in 1988 and completed his residencies in both otolaryngology( head and neck surgery) and plastic surgery between 1989 and 1995. In addition, he received extensive training after his residencies; first in aesthetic plastic surgery at Lenox hospital in New York City; then as a fellow in craniofacial(facial and skeletal) and orthognathic (jaw) surgery at the university of Pittsburgh. He earned his dental degree from LSU and was a practicing pediatric dentist while in medical school.
