Educational Background
Dr. Gerald Edds has been in practice for over twenty-five years. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Edds earned his medical degree at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina and a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Tampa General Hospital through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Edds is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and is actively involved in training residents in cosmetic surgical procedures.
