Dr. Cherny is board certified in plastic surgery, and is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). He's also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
Educational Background
Dr. Eugene J. Cherny is the Medical Director and Senior Surgeon of Heartland Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. He studied medicine at Rush Medical College in his home town of Chicago. Dr. Cherny then completed his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Cherny has been practicing in Des Moines for over ten years.

Office Hours Our office is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. There is someone available for emergency calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
