As the current Director of the Rural Residency Program (OHSU), Grants Pass location, Dr. Deatherage understands the importance of sharing what he has learned. Today, Dr. Deatherage enjoys helping his patients within the Grants Pass community and outlaying areas with their medical needs.

Giving back to the community is an important aspect of Dr. Fawcett’s life. He is currently helping train young surgeons as an OHSU Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery.

Dr. Oehling is president of the Grants Pass Rotary Club, past president of the Oregon Medical Society, and director of building program #3 for the Riverside West All-Sports Park. In addition, he is the founder for both the Grants Pass Ambulatory Surgery Center and Physicians Medical Group at Grants Pass Medical Center Office Building. He recently served as president of the Oregon Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Schulte has been Chief of Staff, Vice Chief of Staff, and is now Chairman of the Trauma Committee at Three Rivers Community Hospital. In addition, he is on the board of directors at Lovejoy Hospice, is an integral part of Mid Rogue Independent Physician’s Association patient care committee and is appointed as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at OHSU.

Dr. Schulte has a special interest in the surgical care of cancer patients, and enjoys spending time explaining in detail disease processes and treatment options.
