William E. Silver, M.D., F.A.C.S., brings with him over thirty years experience in otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery. Dr. Silver embodies the vision of integrating exceptional medical care with his own mastery and artistry of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
He is a native of Atlanta and fondly remembers as a young boy shadowing his father and uncle in their professional fields of dentistry and cosmetic surgery.It was then, at the young age of nine, that Dr. Silver knew he too would be a doctor. Dr. Silver received his undergraduate degree from EmoryUniversity and in 1963 he received his doctorate of medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Silver completed his residency at the infamous Mount Sinai and BelleviewHospitals in New York City in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology.Subsequently, he served as the Director of Head and Neck Surgery for the United States Army.
He continued mastering his skills under the training of the finest facial plastic surgeons of the day, Dr. Jack Anderson, Dr. A. G. Silver, and Dr. Richard Webster.During this time he received numerous academic awards and achievements and was awarded a Fellowship Directorship of the AmericanAcademy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.Dr. Silver continues to hold the position of Fellowship Director and maintains the only Atlanta area facility to train and mentor other facial plastic surgeon the art and skills of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Silvers’ passion for excellence and hard work opened the doors of the PremierImageCosmetic & LaserSurgeryCenter in June of 1970, located near the heart of Atlanta.Premier Image was built by Dr. Silver in answer to his dream of providing patients with a comfortable home-like environment, with luxurious accommodations.The center was completed with a paparazzi entrance affording privacy for the many celebrities, local dignitaries, and people in the media.

Dr. Silver serves on the executive committee of the Medical Association of Atlanta and has been elected to assume the position of Presidency in 2008.He is an active medical staff member at EmoryDunwoodyHospital, NorthsideHospital, St. JosephHospital, Children’s Healthcare, GradyHospital, NorthFultonHospital, and Dekalb GeneralHospital.Dr. Silver is double board certified and serves as an assistant professor of surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine, and is Vice President and Fellowship Director of the AmericanAcademy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. William Silver, his wife, and two childrenreside here in Atlanta.They are known for their people-oriented approach to business and are passionately active in local community concerns.Dr. Silver is actively involved with the “Face to Face” program here in Atlanta providing restorative surgery for battered women as well as his travels across the world providing facial plastic and reconstructive surgery to correct deformities and disfigurement due to hereditary or tragedy to those unable to afford otherwise.
A frequent lecturer to professional and civic groups, contributing author, winner of many academic honors and awards, Dr. Silver continues to be a renowned leader in the art of facial plastic surgery.He helps advance the lives of aspiring doctors, patients, students and employees alike.Dr. Silver remains active and raises funding for UNICEF, American Breast Cancer Society, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Foundation, and the American Heart Association, among others.He has remained committed to providing not only support but treatment for families and children in need.
