Dr. Majmundar is a respected and skilled facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has completed a prestigious fellowship with Karl Eisbach, MD, FACS, one of the country’s leading facial plastic surgeons and among the nation’s busiest facial cosmetic surgeons. This is a highly competitive training program consisting of only 38 fellowships in the world. In addition to his excellent training, Dr. Majmundar scored in the 94th percentile on the Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery written board examination. Dr. Majmundar has also served as a clinical instructor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of New Mexico Hospital System where he helped train medical students and surgical residents. He is also a member of the American Association of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), the world’s largest association of facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons (with over 3,000 members) and the only organization dedicated to the advancement of plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head and neck.
In addition, Dr. Majmundar is a fully trained and board certified Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgeon with knowledge of not only beauty and form, but also function. This gives him a unique perspective of both the inner workings of the head and neck as well as the outer envelope of skin and tissue that portrays our appearance.
Dr. Majmundar attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. Prior to this, he attended the Georgia Institute of Technology where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Chemistry and a Certificate (Minor) in Biochemistry. He was also Valedictorian and Best "All-Around" Senior of his high school class. His achievements include many publications in the facial plastic surgery literature and several presentations at major national and international facial plastic surgery meetings.
Dr. Majmundar's outside interests include landscape and portrait digital photography, traveling, dining, movies, spending time with his beautiful wife and daughter, and attending the various professional, sporting, and cultural events in the Atlanta and Alpharetta area where he and his family currently reside.
