Describe the most rewarding experience that you have had working with a patient?
I had the pleasure of being invited to the wedding of one of my patients that I had performed a cleft palate and cleft lip repair when he was a newborn child.
What is your charity organization of choice and why?
My wife and I contribute to our local Catholic church charity for needy parishioners
What does living in the Tampa community mean to you?
I thoroughly enjoy being a part of a community. This establishes a complete sense of belonging and interdependence with so many wonderful people who I see both professionally and personally.
What is your favorite quote or saying?
God has given us no more than we can deal with at any given time.
What makes your specialties the right fields of medicine for you?
Plastic Surgery offers a great balance of art and function all designed to help my patients reach a better quality of life and fulfillment.

When (your age) did you first realize you wanted to become a surgeon? And did you experience anything in particular to motivate you to achieve this prestigious goal?
I knew as a teenager that I wanted to be a doctor and surgeon because of my curious nature and desire to incorporate art and science in a profession.
Can you tell us in your own words what you consider a perfect outcome of a surgical procedure?
The perfect result in surgery for me is when I and the patient both enjoy the quality and benefits of the surgery, Patient excitement and pleasure for the result has to be experienced for the surgery to be judged a success.
What is your favorite procedure to perform and why?
I like all forms of surgery that allow the patient to feel good about themselves. I particularly enjoy facelifts and eyelid surgery.
What procedure would you like to do more of and why?
I enjoy facial surgery, breast augmentations and abdominoplasties. I have also recently performed several hair transplant procedures with very satisfied patients
In a perfect world, when would you like to retire, where would you go and what would you do?
In a perfect world, I will maintain my health and reflexes and not retire for quite a number of years to come. Many of my patients tell me that they will not let me retire because they so enjoy what I have offered them for results.
