Dr. Verebelyi (pronounced “verbally”) has been working with lasers since receiving his undergraduate degree. He graduated with a major in Biochemical Engineering and minor in Psychology in only three and one half years from the Missouri University of Science and Technology. From there he worked as a Biochemist at the Monsanto Corporation for two years before entering medical school. After graduating from St. George’s University School of Medicine with honors, he went on to the University of Connecticut for residency training in Family Medicine.
Dr. Verebelyi is a fellow at the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and was one of the first doctors in the U.S. to use many of the newest technologies such as Fractionated CO2(Active and Deep FX), Infrared light for skin tightening (Titan), long pulsed 595nm laser for Port Wine Stains (Candela Perfecta) and 2790nm laser resurfacing (Pearl).
Dr. Verebelyi has been featured on Tom Martino's Troubleshooters radio talk show, has had multiple stories on local news channels and has been quoted in several national publications such as Medical Aesthetics and Dermatology News. He trains other physicians from the United States and Canada in advanced techniques for laser surgery and writes many of the test questions for the laser surgery exam offered by the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Currently he is working with several of the most prominent laser surgeons in the US, developing online learning modules to help more doctors understand how to best use light-based technology.
Dr. Verebelyi is onsite everyday and personally performs all of the resurfacing, vascular and injectable treatments. He has also set up the Colorado Center for Photomedicine Port Wine Stain Program so qualifying patients can receive the most advanced treatment available for their vascular lesions at little to no cost.
