In October of 2001 I was crowned Miss Colorado U.S.A. 2002. I knew I would want to look and feel my best as the state representative and as I vied for the title of Miss U.S.A. 2002.
I began working intensively with a personal trainer. My body immediately responded and showed results however, one part of my body remained the same. Regardless of how hard I trained and how much weight I would lift, it was not within my power to change the part of my body I was most self-conscious of.It is because of Dr. Squires that I no longer have a reason to be self-conscious.
Each member of your staff took me under their wing in many ways. Linda, thank you for being so warm and courteous while we scheduled appointments (not the easiest thing to do with my schedule). Paula, thank you for being patient, ready and more than willing to answer the numerous questions I had. Windy, thank you for your professionalism and assurance. Dr. John Squires graduated, with honors, from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1983. He completed both his General Surgery and Plastic Surgery Residencies at Harvard University's Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dr. Squires has been in the Denver area since 1991 and serves as an active member of several hospitals in the area. He is Chief Emeritus of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center.
Dr. Squires takes great pride in helping patients achieve a more youthful and natural appearance. He has been chosen several years as Denver's 5280 Magazine's "Top Doctor" in plastic surgery. He also has been featured on 9News, Channel 7, and the WB Channel 2 discussing the latest techniques and options in cosmetic plastic surgery as well as skin care treatments and products. Dr. Squires loves to ski, snowshoe and golf in the beautiful Colorado area. He is married to a prominent gynecologist and has 3 teenage children.
