This 39 year old woman from Littleton, Colorado was referred by friends who have had pelvic reconstruction performed by Dr. Aguirre in the past. She was interested in an alternative to hysterectomy which had been recommended by her gynecologist. For several years she sufferred from urinary incontinence, heavy menstrual bleeding and a feeling of "falling out". Additional concerns were that of a marked decreased sensation with intercourse due to looseness. She has also been bothered by a lifelong history of large labia. Dr. Aguirre recommended pelvic reconstruction with uterine preservation to address her prolapse and incontinence as well as Aesthetic Vaginal and Vulvar surgery to address her vaginal looseness and labial hypertrophy and hyperpigmentation. She had the following: 1) Thermachoice endometrial ablation for her menorrhagia 2) TVT Secur sling for her stress incontinence 3) Posterior Prolift for her uterine/apical suspension, enterocele, and rectocele 4) Laser Anterior and Posterior Colporrhaphy with Perineorrhaphy for her vaginal looseness 5) Laser Reduction Labiaplasty of the labia minora 6) Excision of Redundant Prepuce (Clitoral Unhooding)
