An inside interview with LocateADoc.com
Describe the most rewarding experience that you have had working with a patient?
Its great every time a patient gets a Non Surgical Nose Job and tells me that, since they were little, they've been dreaming about fixing their nose in exactly this way, but I am the first one who could do it. It makes me feel special and its nice to hear that I can make people's dreams come true.
What is your favorite quote or saying?
A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.
Winston Churchill
We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.

What makes your specialties the right fields of medicine for you?
I've wanted to be a doctor and help people as long as I can remember. I decided to train in surgery because its exciting and the rewards are immediate. As I finished my training, I felt that I was losing touch with my original goal and I missed some creativity in my professional life. I've focused on Non Surgical procedures and I can both help people and be creative.
Finish this sentence: If I weren't a doctor I would be___.
1. .. an international soccer star. In my dreams.
2. ... unhappy. A more realistic answer.
When (your age) did you first realize you wanted to become a surgeon? And did you experience anything in particular to motivate you to achieve this prestigious goal?
My mother is an esthetician. I grew up working in her salon and I always loved the skin care / aesthetic field. I gravitated toward it naturally during training and found that I had a good eye and precise hand. It wasn't the prestige that attracted me. I felt like this was the only field within medicine where I could be creative.
Can you tell us in your own words what you consider a perfect outcome of a surgical procedure?
Perfect outcome has 3 components.
1. The patient sees exactly the results that he/she imagined.
2. Nobody can tell that the patient has had anything done.
3. The patient is not bankrupt.
What is your favorite procedure to perform and why?
Any of the Non Surgical procedures (Nose, Chin, Eyes, Cheekbones). They're fun to do, they involve creativity and people are very happy with the results. And sometimes I get a box of chocolates afterwards.
What is your favorite quote or saying?
A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.

In a perfect world, when would you like to retire, where would you go and what would you do?
I would never fully retire. I would continue to explore my interests in cosmetic procedures and innovate. Working with people in a creative way is invigorating and keeps you alive!
Eventually, I would decrease my practice, travel and pursue my hobbies (whatever they may be at the time). But I'm in no hurry.
