This 42 year old woman from Santa Barbara found Dr. Lowenstein after Dr. Lowenstein was recommended to her by her dermatologist. Her children were born some time ago, and she found that her breasts seemed deflated after breast feeding. As with a "mommy makeover", many women in Santa Barbara seek out Dr. Lowenstein for this problem. She had breast implant augmentation in Dr. Lowenstein's Montecito surgery center, and after a short convalescence she was comfortably back at work, very pleased with her new breast form.

Breast Augmentation (Breast Implants) Photos - Angle 1
Details: The frontal view of this woman's breast augmentation shows a much fuller breast form following plastic surgery in Santa Barbara by Dr. Lowenstein. Despite the breast augmentation, she retainins a natural appearance. As with many women in Santa Barbara, this patient wished her breast augmentation to appear proportionate with her body. Additionally, she had some breast asymmetry which is very common. This patient had a larger breast on the left side before her breast implants were placed. By using a slightly different amount of filling in each of her breast implants, Santa Barbara plastic surgeon Dr. Lowenstein was able to improve this situation significantly, achieving a much more symmetric breast augmentation.
Breast Augmentation (Breast Implants) Photos - Angle 2
Details: This oblique view of this patient shows how her breast was initially deflated, without fullness. After her breast augmentation with saline implants, she achieves the "Santa Barbara" look of a natural appearing, tear drop breast shape. Her breast implants are not excessively large, and the non-operated appearance of her breast augmentation was very pleasing to her following her plastic surgery.
Breast Augmentation (Breast Implants) Photos - Angle 3
Details: From the side, this patient shows how there is minimal convexity in the upper portion of her breast augmentation after 2 months. The convexity in the upper pole of the breast is a sign of having had a breast implant procedure. The natural, "Santa Barbara Plastic Surgery" look which most of Dr. Lowenstein's patients desire requires some operative techniques to minimize this upper breast convexity, and allow the natural appearance of the breast augmentation.
