An inside interview with LocateADoc.com
Describe the most rewarding experience that you have had working with a patient?
The best thing about what we do at Artistic Expressions Dentistry is that we get to change people's lives on a daily basis. There is nothing better than seeing tears of joy when someone sees their new smile in the mirror for the first time.
What is your charity organization of choice and why?
My wife and I do a lot of charity work in our community. The area has been very good to us over the years and we feel it is our obligation to give something back. We are board members of the Bucks County Red Cross. I volunteer to serve the working poor of the area through the Doylestown Hospital Free Dental Clinic as well as The American Dental Association's program for Seniors.
When (your age) did you first realize you wanted to become a surgeon? And did you experience anything in particular to motivate you to achieve this prestigious goal?
My Upper Dublin High School yearbook says that I was going to be a dentist. I always knew that's what I wanted to do. Back then, the fields of Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry were in their infancy. I have gotten to really enjoy those fields most since they have the ability to transform our patients lives.
What is your favorite procedure to perform and why?
We just love to perform Porcelain Veneers because in as little as two visits we can completely transform not only someone's smile, but the hidden personality behind the smile.
In a perfect world, when would you like to retire, where would you go and what would you do?
I would like to retire to San Diego when my children are out of school. My wife and I lived there back in the early 80's. It holds a special fondness to us since that's where it all began for us as newlyweds.
