Prior to my first visit with Dr. Ghodsi, I had not been to a dentist for at least 12 years. I had a petrifying fear of pain when it involved my teeth and I knew I needed my wisdom teeth removed along with some fillings. As the years went by, my fear of the dentist out weighed living with the pain of cavities, bad breath, as well as the misalignment of my teeth being damaged by the wisdom teeth crowding my other teeth. Then my sister who is a dental assistant told me about Sleep Sedation.
My initial appointment was incredible. The entire staff was very comforting. I was waiting for them to hurt me but that never happened. They were very thorough on explaining to me what I needed to have done and what was going to happen to me during the appointments. I had all my work done in 3 visits with absolutely No Pain. One of my appointments was for 6 hours and I dont remember too much about the visit.
As far as Sleep Sedation goes, in my opinion, it is the best. I no longer fear the dentist. I might be a little apprehensive before a visit, but the fact that I can now voluntarily walk thru a dental office door without that fear is priceless. Between Dr. Ghodsi and the staff that works with him, I do not see myself going anywhere else for dental work

Dr. Sharam Ghodsi is an international expert in Cosmetic Dentistry and has been changing lives for over 15 years. Dr. Ghodsi grew up in Southern California and at the age of 20 he received his Bachelor degree in Pharmacology from University of California, Santa Barbara. In 1988 he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Southern California where he continued to teach dentistry as a faculty member.
Since 1988, Dr. Ghodsi has maintained a private practice emphasizing comprehensive restorative and cosmetic dentistry in Orange County, California. Founder of the Cosmetic & Laser Institute of Orange County, in 1998 he also developed one of the leading state of the art Cosmetic and General Dentistry practices in Las Vegas where he continues to treat patients from all over the world at this time.
Dr. Ghodsi has dedicated his life to staying on the leading edge of dentistry and has received numerous awards for this commitment to excellence. Dr. Ghodsi is actively involved in promoting quality care through local organizations and study clubs. He is a member of American Dental Association, Nevada Dental Association, Clark County Dental association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry, International Congress of Dental Implantology. He has attended and continues to attend numerous continuing education courses with emphasis on Cosmetic, Implant and Reconstructive Dentistry.
Dr. Ghodsi is a visionary dental technician who started using lasers in 1990 and has helped develop some of the laser protocols used in dentistry today. Acknowledged by his peers, he has been on the forefront of many major new developments in dentistry.
In spare time, Dr. Ghodsi enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading, boating, and loves to water and snow ski. However, his passion is dentistry, and providing dazzling smiles and self-confidence through cosmetic dental procedures is his hobby.
