Describe the most rewarding experience that you have had working with a patient?
Performing a smile makeover on a patient who was so thrilled with her results she broke down and cried. She proceeded to hug me and tell me how I changed her life. I have had this happen to me more than several times in my career and I can honestly say it is the most rewarding, touching experience no matter how many times it occurs.
What is your charity organization of choice and why?
"Give Back a Smile"- Women who are referred by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and are victims of Domestic Violence are provided with free dental care.
What is your favorite quote or saying?
The amount of confidenc you have is directly proportional to how hard you have worked.
What makes your specialties the right fields of medicine for you?
I love being able to change people's lives by providing the smile they have always wanted, in a comfortable, inviting atmosphere.

When (your age) did you first realize you wanted to become a surgeon? And did you experience anything in particular to motivate you to achieve this prestigious goal?
My sophmore year in highschool.
Can you tell us in your own words what you consider a perfect outcome of a surgical procedure?
When a patient is finished with their treatment and smiles for the first time.. when they are truly happy with their appearance.
What is your favorite procedure to perform and why?
Smile makeovers... because you can touch people's lives in ways that I .never imagined would be possible when I was in dental school
What procedure would you like to do more of and why?
Smile makeovers... they are the most fun, and you can never do too many of these in a weeks time!!!
In a perfect world, when would you like to retire, where would you go and what would you do?
I love being a cosmetic dentist, I am going to do this as long as I can...
