As a child full of energy, I relished building, collecting, playing sports, listening to music and creating just about anything.
I haven't changed as an adult! I still pursue hobbies and outdoor activities, particularly challenging athletic competition. My current passion is riding my bike to work along Chicago's lakefront.
My better habits include healthy eating and regular exercise. You will also always find me ready to study or discuss advances in science, physics and dentistry (which I plan to teach when I retire).
I am grateful for my loving and supportive family. My wife and I have two boys, ages nine and seven and a year old baby daughter. We enjoy simple family activities such as camping, trips to the beach, summertime cookouts and Saturday-morning pancakes.
