Describe the most rewarding experience that you have had working with a patient?
It is very rewarding to change someones life. When a patient tells us this with tears in their eyes -- that is a feeling that cannot be duplicated elsewhere.
What does living in the Cocoa community mean to you?
I love North Brevard County. It's quiet, peaceful - yet close enough to the 'big city' (Orlando). There is a beach to head off to, and bass fishing all over. The people of friendly -- What more could I want?

"I would have liked to be an astronaut. Somehow, I believe this is how I ended up on the 'Space Coast'.
When (your age) did you first realize you wanted to become a surgeon? And did you experience anything in particular to motivate you to achieve this prestigious goal?
I had a very positive influence from my childhood dentist and orthodontist. They were very kind and truly enjoyed helping people. I think of them often.
What is your favorite procedure to perform and why?
I love creating smiles. However, when I can combine this with improving someones quality of life -- THAT is the ultimate 'rush'.
In a perfect world, when would you like to retire, where would you go and what would you do?
I love to travel with my wife. Thus, when I retire, we hope to do more --- see the world!
