What is your charity organization of choice and why?
Our office works closely with Women In Need, an organization that helps abused women. W.I.N. is a U.S. and an international organization. While the organization helps with counseling, training and financial needs, our office helps restore smiles and dental health. Together we not only restore smiles, but also self-esteem and hope for a renewed future.
What does living in the Escondido community mean to you?
I have lived in Escondido for the past 30 years. By actively participating in various civic organizations I have been able to give back to my community. Although Escondido has had phenomenal growth over the years, it still maintains its small town atmosphere. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and getting to know them.
What is your favorite procedure to perform and why?
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry. However, enhancing smiles is especially rewarding. Just to see the joy on someones face when they see their new smile is the greatest reward. It is truly satisfying to know that we can affect a person's confidence and self-worth in such a positive way.
