 Dr. Rampona moved to Virginia three years ago following 15 years in southern Illinois. A few of his career highlights in southern Illinois include the privilege of performing the first corneal transplant, the first epikeratophakia (living contact lens), and the first radial keratotomy surgeries in the area. Dr. Rampona also founded the first and only eye bank in the lower-state region. |
