Dr. Ferzaad Moosa is a board certified Ophthalmologist and laser refractive specialist who has successfully performed over 50,000 LASIK procedures. Dr. Moosa began his journey toward becoming a respected LASIK surgeon in Southern California, where he graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. His education continued at the prestigious Harvard Medical School, and then to UCLA for an internship in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Moosa’s training continued at the world-renowned Doheny Eye Institute/USC residency program, where he achieved the reputation of the finest surgeon in his class. He performed hundreds of microsurgical procedures including Intraocular Procedures, Corneal Transplants, and Glaucoma Procedures; however, his greatest interest was in anterior segment surgery which led to his pursuit of refractive laser eye surgery as his specialty. |
