Dr. Paul Cirangle is a pioneer and thought leader in the field of Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He has been invited to speak and present his work both in the United States and Internationally.
His area of expertise is Laparoscopic Bariatric Surgery (surgery for the treatment of obesity)
Dr. Cirangle has authored numerous original articles and book chapters on these topics. He is a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), American Society for Bariatric Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), International College of Surgeons (ICS) and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS). He is also a member of Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) and serves as Chairman of the Public Information Committee for that society.
Dr. Cirangle holds an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at The Uniformed Services University School of Medicine. He has the privilege of practicing in Hawaii as well as in the Bay Area. He is currently the Medical Director of the The Surgical Weight Loss Center of Hawaii. |
