I had weight loss surgery on June 5, 2002, I weighed 315 pounds. It has completely changed my life. I always thought I was a happy person before my surgery, now five years later I now realize what real happiness is. I'm so thankful for the San Fransico Laproscopic Surgeons every day of my life. I can now buy clothes I actually like and the colors I want, before I was forced to wear whatever fit me. I can ride on carnival rides, I can fit through a turnstile without opening the handicap gates, I do not have to use the handicap bathroom in public buildings I can walk for miles and not get tired.
I was ten and a half pounds at birth, both of my parents were obese, I have been on every diet imaginable, I would lose 50 pounds and then gain back 75, it was a never ending battle. Surgery was not the easy way out, surgery was the only way out. Five people from my immediate family have had surgery at San Fransico Laporscopic Assoc., with the same life changing results.We now eat to live, we do not live to eat.
