Dr. Perez began his residency in 1991. From 1991 until 1996 his training involved Advanced Laparoscopy and Bariatric surgery. Since 1996 Dr. Perez has been associated with both U.S. Bariatric and Holy Cross Hospital in the field of Bariatric surgery. He has performed over 1500 Bariatric surgical procedures to date. In recent years he has served as instructor and lecturer for U.S. Bariatric Management Institute for programs presented at the American Society for Bariatric Surgery, Ethicon Endosurgery and programs in Latin America. He is currently Co-medical Director for Bariatrics at Holy Cross Hospital. In this position he has been influential in helping to elevate and perfect the surgical and medical care of the bariatric patient. |
