Female, 161 lbs, 5'5"
Two years ago I was insulin dependent diabetic, high blood pressure, and sleep apnea problem. After having the lap band performed by Dr. Elmer Valin. I have lost tremendous amount of weight, I no longer depend on an insulin pump. I take 1 pill a day for insulin. My sleep apnea is gone, and blood pressure has been great. I couldn't have done this without the lap band. I don't regret ever doing it, and I highly recommend it to all my friends. I have people call me all the time and ask about the lap band and should they do it. My co workers and I have work together a daily exercise plan to help stay in shape. I use to be a size 22, now I am a size 2 or 4. Isn't that wonderful.
