What makes your specialties the right fields of medicine for you?
After fighting with obesity for many years and not finding any long-term weight loss results from diets, exercise and medications, I learned about this new weight loss procedure, the Lap-Band System. The Lap-Band System offered many advantages and benefits that other weight loss surgeries or treatments did not offer.
The Lap-Band procedure improved my health and changed my life. After living with the Lap-Band, I developed a profound interest in this revolutionary procedure. I studied the procedure with Lap-Band pioneer, Guy-Bernard Cadiere in Brussels and became one of the first doctors to perform the Lap-Band in the states following FDA approval in 2001.
