I had weight loss surgery on June 5, 2002, I weighed 315 pounds. It has completely changed my life. I always thought I was a happy person before my surgery, now five years later I now realize what real happiness is. I'm so thankful for the San Fransico Laproscopic Surgeons every day of my life. I can ride on carnival rides, I can fit through a turnstile without opening the handicap gates, I do not have to use the handicap bathroom in public buildings I can walk for miles and not get tired.
I was ten and a half pounds at birth, both of my parents were obese, I have been on every diet imaginable, I would lose 50 pounds and then gain back 75, it was a never ending battle.
