 Dr. Hatem A. Abou-Sayed received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and his medical degree from the University of California in San Francisco (UCSF). While pursuing his academic career, Dr. Abou-Sayed worked as a Research Assistant for both the University of California Department of Surgery and Lawrence Berkeley Laboratories in Berkeley, California. For his post-doctoral work, he completed a five-year Residency in Surgery at the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, before returning to UCSF to complete his plastic surgery fellowship. Dr. Abou-Sayed is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. |

He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY in 1991 after completing his undergraduate degree at New York University. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He then completed his fellowship in Plastic Surgery in 1999 at Yale University where he not only served as Chief Resident but also excelled by receiving numerous awards. He spent an additional year at Yale fine-tuning his skills in cosmetic and breast surgery. Dr. Eidelman is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. |

After 3 years, he did a fellowship in burn care and reconstruction followed by a 2-year plastic surgery fellowship in the same medical center under the tutelage of the Long Island Plastic Surgery Partners. He had advanced training in microsurgery, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. |
