Our doors opened on November 15 th , 1999. The Business Plan was developed by Jacqueline D. Griffiths, M.D. and Darren Jones. Initially the plan was to provide only laser vision correction services to the greater Washington Metropolitan Area as the laser eye industry was growing in an exponential fashion at that time. It was determined that there was a void in a "more personalized doctor-run practice" that was more "patient focused" rather than "business-focused" in this area - a "NewView"!
