Describe the most rewarding experience that you have had working with a patient?
Although, perception is not reality, it is all patients have at their disposal to gauge our success for their surgical cosmetic resultant satisfaction. Without question, if one can attain perceptual fulfillment in cosmetic surgery, you are indeed a success and justly rewarded.
What is your charity organization of choice and why?
The Salvation Army, as this is one of the few charitable organizations that she can rest assured, that every dollar donated will be used to assist the downtrodden and needy.
What does living in the Leawood community mean to you?
Sorry, I do not live in Leawood community, I only practice their. I do find the community to be friendly and very appreciative as a work environment.

What makes your specialties the right fields of medicine for you?
I truly appreciate being given the opportunity to help one improve their self image. It is not that curing disease is not rewarding, but rather knowing when an individual is in public or even in front of a mirror, that that individual is confident enough to conquer any challenge that is placed before them in their daily activities and life in general.

When (your age) did you first realize you wanted to become a surgeon? And did you experience anything in particular to motivate you to achieve this prestigious goal?
At age 21 while in undergraduate college, I was a victim of a motor vehicular accident in which I received severe head injuries. I was very fortunate these injuries and recently resolved, thus directing me toward medicine. I had no desire other then to become a surgeon, when the decision was made regarding attending medical school.
Can you tell us in your own words what you consider a perfect outcome of a surgical procedure?
Since, perfection is in the eyes of the beholder, if the patient's perceptual perfection is attained this in my mind is perfection.
What is your favorite procedure to perform and why?
All procedures involving Tumescent Anesthesia Liposuction. Primarily due to the safety involved not having to use general anesthesia, the result of using micro cannulas, and a little or no discomfort to the patient during and following the procedure. There is the highly appreciated immediate result by the patient.
What procedure would you like to do more of and why?
As previously stated, any elective procedure that can be performed under local anesthesia (Tumescent Anesthesia), thus, assuring this safety and well-being of the patient.
In a perfect world, when would you like to retire, where would you go and what would you do?
I do not feel that I would ever like to return completely, only limiting factor being the health, as I truly appreciate and enjoy being given the opportunity to perform the procedures I do for my patient.
