An inside interview with LocateADoc.com
Describe the most rewarding experience that you have had working with a patient?
My best feeling is to see someone return after an operation who was in tremendous pain before surgery come back for their post-op visit completely pain free.
What is your favorite quote or saying?
As the patient rolls back to surgery I say to the family: "Its not how fast we get it done; its just that we get it done right".
What makes your specialties the right fields of medicine for you?
Spine medicine makes me think about the total person before recommending treatment. I am not just a technician.
Can you tell us in your own words what you consider a perfect outcome of a surgical procedure?
The perfect outcome of a surgery is when the patient is totally pleased with the result.
In a perfect world, when would you like to retire, where would you go and what would you do?
In a perfect world I would never retire; just better balance, more time for family and exercise.
