In 1985 following extensive training in general surgery and plastic surgery at University Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida, he founded "Plastic Surgery Center of South Florida" devoted solely to cosmetic surgery. Since that time he has performed over 10,000 plastic surgery procedures.
The doctor is very active academically and has received the prestigious "Recognition Award" for continuing education in plastic surgery from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the "Certificate of Advance Education in Cosmetic Surgery" from the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is a voluntary assistant clinically professor in the division of plastic surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine and has served as visiting faculty in plastic surgery at University Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
