For the past twenty five years, I have focused my medical practice on helping the “hard to treat patient.” By hard to treat, I refer to the patients who have lost confidence in today’s impersonal and confusing health-care environment. It’s no secret that most managed care providers (HMOs & PPOs) simply don’t want to take time to answer questions. Such indifference can be a real problem for people who are seeking answers to their health questions - and viable solutions for improving their well-being.

I believe that patients who are well informed and who are willing to be a partner with their doctor about their healthcare receive a higher quality of care than patients who simply defer all decisions to their “primary care provider.”
