Steven L. Crawshaw, M.D., graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Dickinson College, Pennsylvania, and received his M.D. from Pennsylvania State University. He completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at the East Carolina University.

From 1984 to 1996, Dr. Crawshaw practiced General and Vascular Surgery in Salisbury, Maryland. He was Staff Surgeon and then Director of Trauma at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, and Staff Surgeon at Atlantic General Hospital, Berlin, Maryland.

In 1996, Dr. Crawshaw elected to practice hair restoration surgery exclusively and affiliated with Bosley - the World's leader in Hair Restoration Practice. Following his training with hair transplantation pioneer L. Lee Bosley, M.D. and from other experienced M.D.s at Bosley, Dr. Crawshaw assumed leadership of the Bosley Houston surgical office, until late 2010. Dr. Crawshaw is currently affiliated with Bosley on part-time basis.

Dr. Crawshaw is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Prior to joining Bosley, Dr. Crawshaw was a board certified Surgeon of the American Board of Surgery, which he is now a Diplomate of. He is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in Texas, California, Washington, Illinois and New York.
