For years I had struggled with a severe mental health issue and had seen several therapists plus a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist just wanted to put me on meds and the therapists seemed to only listen and offer the occasional "How does that make you feel" comment. Dr. Saenz came highly recommended as not the typical therapist.

In his office I immediately felt safe, heard and taken seriously. Dr. Saenz was warm, caring and empathic, but more importantly, he was involved from the start, asking questions, challenging me when i needed it, and listening patiently when i needed that too.

All in all, an excellent psychologist in comparison to the several I'd seen before. Since that time I've recommended him to 3 friends, 2 of them did see him and stayed with him- they too were glad they went in.

Absolutely the very best! I've seen many psychologists in my life and Dr. Saenz was remarkable-- warm, understanding, sensitive, intelligent, challenging and witty when appropriate. We took our marriage, which was on the rocks, in for a final overhaul and what we came out with was enough material to work with to make it work. Dr. Saenz was excellent in marriage and family therapy and I couldn't recommend him any more highly.
