I had a bad breast augmentation by a cosmetic surgeon and he made my breasts lopsided and uneven. Others had told me about Dr. Michele DeVito but instead of going to her I went to the cheapest I could find. Luckily for me, she was able to fix the issues and the scar is so fine that you have to look hard to find it. Do yourself a favor and have her do your cosmetic work. It will save you the heartache and self-esteem issues that I faced. Thank you Dr. D! Both me and my husband love you =).

Please read this if you are thinking about having plastic surgery. I had a very unsuccessful past with plastic surgeons and breast augmentation. My name is Rebecca and I live in Florida. I found Dr. Corbin by sure luck and I like to think destiny. I found out about him when I looked under America's top surgeons on the computer one night. I was very frustrated with my situation, and the doctors here in Florida. Two years of searching and nobody seemed to have any answers for me. I couldn't get the right help. After seeing so many doctors and getting nowhere, I knew I had to do something. I needed help and I needed the best, so I called Dr. Corbin's office and got the ball rolling. I have family in California so this looked like a possibility. I would see them and go meet Dr. Corbin. Off to California and to meet Dr. Corbin we went. The news was I needed more than one surgery. I had to go for a period of time with no implants in at all. Dr. Corbin never sugar coated anything to me he was upright and honest about everything. I was not used to this from other Dr.'s and Dr.'s offices. Dr. Corbin and his staff were always facts and honesty. This was so refreshing compared to the numerous other doctor's with a super smooth sales pitch whom often told me what I wanted to hear but wasn't necessarily the truth. I thanked God for their honesty. The last thing I needed at this stage of the game was to have my hopes built up with a dreadful let down again. From there I proceeded to surgery number one. Out came the implants. Surgery was perfect. The staff and the Anesthesiologist – forgot his name - were amazing! What a great experience, it was comforting and professional. I was really looking forward to coming back I knew they were going to help me. Please keep in mind that having implants in and then out for sometime is a pretty traumatic thing, let alone two previous years of unsuccessful surgeries. I was scared and very impatient. The image and hope of the final result really kept me going, it was not an easy time. I called the office often and the staff always calmed me down and reassured me. Surgery number two now came. There is a little bit more to my story, of Dr. Corbin and me. I had wires left in my body from a pacemaker I had taken out sometime ago. With the second surgery I asked Dr. Corbin if he could take away some of the scar tissue that built up around these wires which always caused me pain. I also added a rhinoplasty on to my agenda. I wanted it all done at once, no more surgery for me. Surgery came August. Dr. Corbin did the nose, it was great, the scar tissue around the wires caused concern to Dr. Corbin so he cultured it (took a sample so it could be tested for the bacteria) he did not proceed with the breast augmentation because of his suspicions with the scar tissue. Three days later I was in the hospital with a fever of 102.9. I had a very rare and very bad infection, 2 gram negative bacteria to be precise. This infection was living dormant in the scar tissue of the pacemaker wires and from the surgery it started to travel through me. To make a long story a little shorter I ended up very seriously sick in the hospital. I had to have the pacemaker wires removed from my heart because on them lived the bacteria's that made me so ill. They traveled straight to my heart and throughout the rest of my body. Now if Dr. Corbin had not taken the culture during the 2nd operation this would never have been discovered! If he would have proceeded with the augmentation the implants would have become infected and I would have had to have them removed again. I could have eventually gotten very, very sick. By Dr. Corbin being the experienced and skilled Dr./surgeon that he is and because of his intuition and conservativeness he found out what was really wrong with me. Also, I most likely would have gotten an infection in my heart that probably would have caused irreversible damage and I easily could have died from it. During all of this Dr. Corbin was there for me. He came and visited with me and sat with me when I was so sick. Things like that are priceless and will live with me forever. Dr. Corbin, and staff are the most caring, gifted people I have yet to see in health care. They are the definition of outstanding. They are not only my Dr.'s office they are family and my inspiration. They never gave up on me. Not many people can say that their plastic surgeon saved their life but Dr. Corbin saved mine. By the way I had my last surgery and it went beautiful. I have better breasts then I could have ever dreamed of. Every day they become more beautiful. They are worth it all. He is a master artist in his surgical skill. I really believe Dr. Corbin and his staff are magic. By the way the nose is unbelievable too. I went through so much, it's really hard to express it all but what I want people to get through this is that if you are going to trust your life and your body to someone, go to the BEST FROM THE START, GO TO DR. CORBIN! He is someone who won't give up and truly cares. I want to tell you, Dr. Corbin how grateful I am to you and how I admire your selfless acts of kindness, endless patience and time that you give to us patients. You are the ABSOLUTE BEST, thanks for doing what you do and for being you! Forever grateful, Rebecca

I was diagnosised with breast cancer in 2009. When you receive that type of news your emotions are overwhelming. Being a nurse I was somewhat knowledgeable in the arena I was about to enter. I researched ALL of my physicians. From where they went to school, did their residency and fellowships, what areas they specialized in and what areas they were certified in and the number of years doing this. I had meet with all of my physicians prior to choosing them. I had seen a few plastic surgeons prior to my consultation with Dr. Kayser. From the moment I stepped into his office for the first consultation to today, I feel comfort, peace, geninue caring about you as the patient. Dr. Kayser is a "Gifted Man". God has blessed him with a great expertise in the area of cosmetic surgery and in return we (the patient) receive these blessing too with the positive outcomes from his gifts. I would recommend Dr. Kayser to anyone because he truly cares about his patients...take it from someone that works in this arena...you won't be disappointed. Thank you Dr. Kayser for being the "Gifted Man" you are!!!

I'm not entirely sure how to 'recommend' Dr. Craigie and his team. Our story is like that of many others. Our mother, the keystone of our lives so-to-speak was diagnosed with breast cancer, underwent Chemo, radiation and a double radical mastectomy. When it came time for her reconstruction, we were lucky to receive the recommendation for Dr. Craigie from a medical device sales person. From the beginning the office staff was more than accommodating. They were willing to include the entire family (from 3 different states) in setting up a conference call with Christine (spelling), PA to discuss ANY worries, questions, etc. prior to surgery. Traveling from another state for the surgery did not present any problems, again, thanks to the staff. Dr. Craigie spent more time than anticipated with mom, but still no small detail overlooked. The staff at East Cooper was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The nurses were so very knowledgeable, Dr. Craigie very involved after surgery, and Nursing Assistants were friendly and very helpful. I can honestly say we have NEVER had such a wonderful experience in a health care setting. Those wanting to improve their facilities, staff, ect should take a serious look at Dr. Craigie and team and East Cooper Medical Center. AMAZING!

Every time I have a mammogram the technicians tell me it is the best job they have witnessed. You really are the best in reconstructive surgery! The new breast has become real to me over the past few years. I have feelings that are natural, my clothes look better than with the prosthesis I was wearing, and I feel whole and feminine. I hope you can use my testimony and pictures to help women make the decision to have reconstructive surgery.

There are no words to describe how incredible Dr. Moody and her staff are. To anyone that wants or needs something done to your breasts, whether it's a reduction, lift, reconstruction, implantation, etc. I most DEFINITELY recommend Dr. Felice Moody at Anmed Health. She and her staff are so caring and make the process as stress free as they possibly can for their patients. They work their hardest to understand your needs and make sure that you are comfortable the ENTIRE time that you're in their care. On top of all that, the work she does is PHENOMENAL.

Not only is Dr. Cohen a highly skilled surgeon, he is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever met. I went to Dr. Cohen after enduring a breast reconstruction by another surgeon who totally disfigured me. Surprisingly enough, the first surgeon was a female and I mistakenly thought that a female doctor would give me the compassion and care that I needed following my bilateral mastectomy. I couldn't have been more wrong and I paid the price for that assumption with a disfigurement that was so profound that I couldn't bear to look at myself in the mirror. I was reluctunt to go through another surgery and recovery, but decided to meet with Dr. Cohen to see if he felt there was something he could do to correct the disfigurement and make me look and feel normal. He was a godsend! He was so kind and gracious, he took the time to explain every detail of what he would do to improve the first result, to answer all of my questions and I could tell that he really cared about me as a person and wanted to achieve the best result possible for me. My surgery took place on Friday, 3/25/11, and I couldn't be more pleased. Dr. Cohen's skill and talent as a plastic surgeon is obvious when you look at my before and after pictures. I feel "whole" again. For those of us who have fought breast cancer and made it through, it is comforting to finally feel a sense of normalcy once more. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Cohen and his wonderful staff, Shelley and Shana, for taking such excellent care of me.

Dr. A. gave my self esteem a major boost this summer! I had one breast that was larger than the other and he corrected the problem. It may sound stupid to some, but I?m a young woman in the prime of her life and I just didn?t feel confident about myself. I was scared of what people might think about me if they knew that I was getting a boob job. Dr. A. and his nurses helped me feel at ease every time I visited his office at Cosmabella. The whole experience was pretty cool because they treated me not like I was not only a patient, but a friend. They were willing to work with my budget which definitely helped me out. I know have breasts that look and feel like I think they should. I am glad my problem was taken care of in a modest and totally professional way.
