megan fox lip injections picture - locateadocMegan Fox, actress from leading movies such as Transformers, is widely known for her stunning beauty. However, rumors have been surfacing of a suspected nose job, dermal fillers and lip injections. Placing photos of a younger Fox next to ones of this year do show changes, but Megan Fox isn't admitting to anything at the moment. One thing is for sure; dermal fillers and lip injections can definitely change your face without being glaring.

Dermal Fillers and Lip Injections

For many adults, the desire to maintain the look of youthful beauty is strong. Dermal fillers and lip injections are a way to restore that look of fresh beauty in the face and mouth. Dermal fillers rejuvenate aging or damaged skin and lip injections allow for fuller, prettier lips much like Megan Fox's pouty smile. Aesthetic procedures and popular treatments such as dermal fillers and lip injections fix or reduce many skin problems and possess the capability of improving the look of the lip and the area surrounding it.

How Dermal Fillers Work

First, dermal fillers and lip injections provide solutions to many common appearance problems including, but not limited to, thin lips, shallow contours, facial creases and wrinkles in the brow and forehead, and recessed scars. While neither dermal fillers and lip injections prevent a patient from aging, they can give the impression of not aging. For Megan Fox, the rumors circulated after her cheekbones appeared higher and fuller.

There are many different types of fillers such as collagen and human fat. The results may last anywhere from eight to twelve months and can really heighten an individual's appeal and attractiveness. The doctor will evaluate your appearance and skin and mark strategic points to inject the filler. The sites will be cleaned and then a numbing agent may be offered to ease the stress and pain off of the patient’s shoulders.

How Lip Injections Work

Lip injections work in a similar manner but are applied more to a different area: the lip. They provide for fuller lips and most of the material injected provides for results that last up to a year. Some common side effects for both dermal fillers and lip injections are pain and swelling in the sites and areas of rejection. Bruises may appear or the ability to bruise may heighten. Swelling and other symptoms of the sort can easily be soothed with painkillers and ice. Most patients need a recovery period of up to twenty four hours before engaging in their usual day-to-day life and physical activity.

Dermal fillers and lip injections are useful and beneficial to those who are looking to touch up the areas of their face which they feel are not up to par. They are relatively safe and natural treatments that create the look of beauty and naturalness that both the young and old desire. Whether Megan Fox used the two to sculpt her face back in 2011 when the media was buzzing with rumors into the beauty she is today, we are unsure. However, if she had it would have taken little to no downtime to see the results of this long-term fix.

  • Khloe Kardashian made headlines recently after the paparazzi caught her with the infamous “trout pout” – the result of too many injectable fillers in the lips. Kim Kardashian’s younger sister appeared to have some very swollen and lumpy lips after leaving a Beverly Hills salon last week and many are suspecting that that star had cosmetic surgery. Celebrity plastic surgery doctor Dr. Anthony Youn did not treat Khloe Kardashian but believes that the star did have some type of injectable filler. He tells RadarOnline.com, “Khloe has a trout pout! The excessively plump appearance of her lips could be due to injections of a filler like Juvederm. Her upper lip is larger than her lower lip, causing her mouth to resemble a trout’s. Most injectable fillers last about 6 months in the lips, so given enough time we may see her lips shrink to a smaller and more typical size.” Another plastic surgery doctor, Dr. Michael Fiorellio who is based in New York City, made a similar conclusion. He suspects that Khloe had some type of filler treatment because, “Her lips look swollen and bruised. The product looks lumpy as well”. Dr. Fiorellio is suggesting that this Kardashian sister had either Juvederm or Restylane injections to make her lips appear larger and fuller. Injectable fillers are among the most popular types of non-invasive cosmetic enhancements around the country, and are an attractive option for women who want to add volume to their lips, fill out hollows in their cheeks, and diminish the appearance of wrinkles and lines. They’re also more affordable than having surgery and can be a convenient option for those who don’t want to deal with the long downtime and recovery process associate with a surgical procedure like lip implants or a facelift.
