Jessica Simpson is the new face of Weight Watchers and reportedly shed more than a few pounds after her recent pregnancy. However, critics are suggesting that Simpson didn’t lose the weight with the help of the calorie-controlled Weight Watchers program, but went under the knife instead. A recent story in Star magazine sparked rumors across the web that Jessica Simpson had plastic surgery to lose some of those pregnancy pounds. The headline in Star points out that Jessica Simpson, “is desperate to lose her baby weight – even if it means going under the knife.”
The magazine claims that sources told them, “Jessica is frustrated with diet and exercise and would undergo surgery if she wasn’t under contract.” Another insider reports that “Jess has been researching plastic surgery procedures…everything from noninvasive options, like lipodissolve injections, to tummy tucks and liposuction.”
While many are suspecting that the Star story is false, the rumors that Jessica Simpson has lost about 40 pounds with the help of a plastic surgeon are still circulating.
Jessica Simpson is no stranger to plastic surgery, as she admittedly has had Restylane injections to achieve plumper lips, and appears to have had a breast lift at some point. She has been rumored to have had a breast augmentation procedure and also a breast reduction procedure at some point in her career – she’s denied both publicly in her Twitter feed and in interviews. She’s also been accused of having a nose job to create a smaller bridge, and a blepharoplasty procedure to lift up her eyes and make them appear bigger.
