‘The Bachelorette’’s Emily Maynard Had Multiple Plastic Surgery Procedures Before Show

A new report from US Weekly reveals that Emily Maynard underwent multiple plastic and cosmetic surgery procedures before landing her spot on “The Bachelorette”.

The magazine reports that the 26-year-old single mom had breast implants, a nose job, and veneers before taking part in the show in hopes of overcoming some of the insecurities she developed from having Bell’s palsy as a teenager. Sources report that she was tormented at school because the nerve disorder had left one side of her face completely paralyzed for a few months.

While it’s no secret that many contestants on the show do whatever they can to improve their appearance, some believe that Maynard may have taken plastic surgery too far. A friend who met Maynard when she was still engaged to Brad Womack says that it appeared Maynard had had a lot of Botox because, “Her expressions seem kind of frozen”.

Critics have declared that Maynard simply wears “too much makeup” and viewers have been making Botox jokes since it appeared Maynard had been doing something to enhance her appearance. Still, Maynard continues to played the “low maintenance” mom and never really revealed that she had any work done.

Do you think Emily Maynard’s plastic surgery is tastefully done or has she taken things too far? Share your thoughts below.
