Beyonce tells People magazine, ”After being pumped with all those fluids and gaining so much weight…I barely recognized myself! I’m proud of that and happy, but that was mostly from the breastfeeding.”
While breastfeeding little baby Blue did help her shed some of those pregnancy pounds, Beyonce admits that she was also counting calories and working out three or four times per week. She maintained a fitness regimen of walking and running but did have to work her way up to running a few months after the pregnancy.
