Katie Price Says Plastic Surgery Obsession "Ruined" Her Looks

Did Katie Price Overdo it with Dermal Fillers? From getting Botox injections every four months to showing off her boob job, Katie Price isn’t afraid to declare she has a plastic surgery “addiction”. However, the 32-year-old model admits that her obsession has ruined her looks and warns young women not to chase after the Hollywood ideal.

Price recently spoke quite frankly to Heat magazine about her experience and love affair with plastic surgery, admitting that she has spent more than £100,000 ($160,000+) to achieve her ideal figure – which happens to be not so ideal when she looks at herself in the mirror.

She says that plastic surgery has done a lot of damage to her body over the years. In 2009, she flew more than 3,000 miles to Los Angeles to have Botox injections at the S&B Surgery Centre in Beverly Hills every three months. She even went as far as throwing a Botox party as part of her hen celebration before her July 2010 wedding to Alex Reid.  In 2007, she shelled out £25,000 for a full set of veneers but admits that, “I would never advise anyone to get veneers done. Now I have to have an anesthetic just to get my teeth professionally cleaned.”

Price had also undergone liposuction at the age of 20. She says that the procedure was definitely a mistake because it didn’t work.  She admits that she was “too lazy to go to the gym” and that it was both painful and dangerous.

Plastic surgery isn’t Katie Price’s only attempt at extreme vanity. She also has hair extensions every three months, and currently pays about £6,000 for each session. She’s been getting these extensions every year for about 12 years. She says that without them, “I feel disgusting”. She even threatened to sue a Hollywood hairdresser who claimed that her extensions were what were making her hair fall out.

Perhaps her most noticeable plastic surgery makeover involved rhinoplasty. Price had a nose job in 2007, about the same time she underwent her fourth breast enhancement procedure. Price has also admitted to having breast surgery six times throughout her lifetime.
