Smooth Med Offers Botox on the Fly in NYC

Smoooth Med has recently opened on 111 East 59th Street in New York to accommodate for the busy client who just needs their Botox fix – ASAP. The clinic has been described as a ‘walk-in injectables emporium’ and a ‘Botox Express’, a street-level store with a frosted-glass exterior that delivers Botox injections and other injectables in 30 minutes or less.

Anyone visiting the clinic will need to fill out paperwork, but this information is kept on file for future visits to save more time on the next visit. Each patient gets their before and after pictures taken to ensure that they can see instant results.

The New York Times reports that the costs of lip plumping treatments at Smooth Med start at $350 and go up to $800. Botox is sold by the unit at a rate of $15 per unit, and costs approximately $360 to treat the forehead. Smooth Med also carries Dysport, the latest contender to the Botox market, and is priced slightly lower than Botox injections per unit. The Smooth Med website discloses all prices for treatments, and includes pricing for its Botox light treatment ($500), and indicates that all treatments require the payment of a $50 base fee.

Latisse is another highly-sought after product available from Smooth Med, an eyelash-enhancing serum that has recently been approved by the FDA to help people grow fuller, thicker lashes. The clinic also offers skincare products and designed to protect and exfoliate the skin, and diminish the appearance of fine lines and dark circles. The clinic accepts walk-ins but prefers appointments, and is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
