Vi Peel Put to the Test on 'Good Morning Texas'

The Vi Peel is one of the latest chemical peels available for aging and sun-damaged skin, a treatment that promises to get rid of fine lines and wrinkles, reduce the appearance of scars and restore a fresh, rejuvenated appearance.  Hollywood has deemed it the ultimate skin breakthrough for turning back the clock, and the procedure is now available at dozens of medical spas and skin rejuvenation centers across the country. The Vi peel may be a valuable, low-cost alternative to pricey facelift treatments and other anti-aging procedures.

The Vi Peel is different from standard chemical peels because it contains Retin-A and concentrated viamins and minerals that help to detoxify the skin at a deeper level without causing pain or tissue damage.

The treatment helps to shrink enlarged pores and stimulates collagen production, resulting in firmer, tighter and rejuvenated skin.  The skin may be slightly red and sensitive immediately after treatment, but any discomfort will fade within a few hours; over a period of a few days, the skin will begin to shed (peel) but the peeling cycle is complete by the end of the fourth day.

Key benefits of the Vi Peel include reducing wrinkles, removing hyperpigmentation, and reducing the appearance of age spots. Patients who undergo the Vi treatment can speed up the process by applying 'Peel Pads' to the skin over the course of 2-3 days after the peel is applied; these pads contain essential skin moisturizing and healing ingredients that support the cell turnover process.

The Vi peel was recently performed live on NBC's Good Morning Texas for the 'Beauty on a Budget' segment. Dr. Bill Johnson also discussed the benefits of other low-cost skin rejuvenation treatments that can help get rid of age spots, sun spots, melasma and acne scars.
