Sun-damaged skin and wrinkles can be treated with a number of today's innovative anti aging treatments, but some don't always provide the precision and control needed for small areas of skin.
Pearl Fractional lasers have recently received clearance for use in the United States, Europe and Australia, and promises to deliver more targeted results for patients who want to reduce wrinkles, reduce the signs of sun damage and improve the texture and tone of their skin.
David Goldberg, MD is one of the first to use the Pearl Fractional laser at his practice. He explains that;
"Pearl Fractional is an exciting new application because it optimizes the ratio of ablation and coagulation, while controlling thermal damage. My patients are delighted that they see cosmetic improvements in a single treatment, while experiencing an advanced, safe procedure with an expected recovery time of less than one week." The treatment goes one step beyond today's CO2 fractional lasers and other skin rejuvenation procedures designed to increase the production of collagen and improve the tone and texture of the skin.
